Zephaniah 3:17

I’m going to be honest here and say I’m not 100% sure who Zephaniah was. His lineage is in verse 1 of chapter 1. He is obviously someone God spoke to about judgement in different countries. So maybe he’s considered a minor prophet? Either way, I’m sure he wasn’t very well loved. (Most people with bad news aren’t.)

BUT!!! Our verse today is GOOD news! It is still very true for us today. God is loving among us. He is a Mighty Savior! He takes delight in us with gladness. He can calm our fears with His love, if we allow Him to. He will rejoice over us with joyful songs!

I’m not sure where or when these joyful songs are played over us, but I believe it! I can’t wait to hear the music of Heaven. I bet it’s amazing! What joy filled music is must be!
