Psalm 78:24-25

Psalm 78 is written by Asaph, not David or Moses. Asaph said in the beginning of the chapter that he wanted to speak to them in a parable but teach them stories that their ancestors handed down to them.

When Moses brought them out of Egypt, after 1 month, (and a lot of complaints from the Israelites) God provided food every day so everyone could eat. It was on the ground each morning when they woke up. Manna is a bread like substance that is described in Genesis 16:14. When the dew evaporated, a flaky substance as fine as frost blanketed the ground. They were instructed to only get what they needed per person for THAT day. Anything extra would rot.

Because it came from Heaven, I think that's why Asaph says it was the food of angels. However, it might be something the angels in Heaven actually eat. In my mind, I had it pictured like dinner rolls all over the ground. This changes my thoughts on it. Have you ever thought about manna being angel food?
