Luke 12:8-10

The title of Luke chapter 12 in my Bible is, “A Warning Against Hypocrisy”. There are several different areas that Jesus warned against. It's almost in a Proverbs type style of bouncing from one topic to the next.

I’m not sure why Jesus uses this verbiage. I checked other translations and they say the same thing. Sometimes I’ve heard this misquoted and changed to “Heaven”. But Jesus clearly said “in the presence of angels”. I think He was referring to the ones in Heaven, which might be why some people misquote it.

The main point here is we shouldn't deny Jesus or the Holy Spirit EVER. Blasphemy is defined as, “to speak irreverently of God, speak evil of, slander, or abuse”. People should never ever do that either. When we don't, Jesus talks about us in Heaven. Maybe He instructs the angels to care for us more. I’m not sure. What are your thoughts?
