Psalm 69:29-30

I am sure we can all relate to today’s verses! This is a song written by David. It’s so cool to me that he ended up a mighty warrior King but he had a soft side for worship music. I’m not sure of the timing he wrote Psalm 69, but we do know how he ran from Saul so many years.

When we are suffering either emotionally or physically, we CAN go to God. He is right there. He can heal AND save in seconds. He doesn’t always answer those prayers right away or in the way we wanted, but He does answer.

We can sing and praise Him with thanksgiving anytime! We can sing Scripture on our own, or sing songs written directly from Scripture. God is good and He deserves our Thanksgiving no matter what’s going on in our lives. Because, here’s the hard truth, only SOME of our problems come from the enemy. The rest are because of our choices. There is always a consequence to sin or to doing something God told us NOT to do. That makes it more precious to thank Him when He gets us out of stuff. Don’t you agree?
