1st Corinthians 1:4-6

1st Corinthians is probably the first letter to the church in Corinth. Paul is telling them that he thanks God for their spiritual gifts. (He adds the spiritual part in verse 7.) We also know he meant spiritual gifts because he said, “now that you belong to Christ Jesus.”

This made me think, are we thanking God for our church staff and leaders? For the way they use their gifts to enrich our church? Don’t get me wrong, once someone gets saved, they receive the Holy Spirit and gifts from Him. BUT, not everyone uses the gifts they’ve been given. Church staffs and leadership do, for sure!

Take a minute today and thank God for your own spiritual gifts and of those around you as well as your church staffs!
