Psalm 41:1-4

Today's verses are another time where God is showing us the benefits of helping others. We should never do anything selfishly or for our gain. Ever. But God is showing us some connections to how we can receive healing from Him.

Ultimately, the LORD can and will do whatever He wants, right? However, I do believe He wants everyone well. It’s not His desire for us to be miserable and only going through hard time after hard time. That’s not abundant life. (You know, that Jesus came to give us.)

Our verses connect being kind to the poor. When we do, the LORD goes into action on our behalf. He:

Rescues those in trouble

Protects

Keeps alive those who were kind

Gives them prosperity in the land

Rescues them from their enemies

Nurses them when they are sick

Restores them to health

All I can say is THANK YOU LORD for doing all of this for us!
