Jeremiah 17:14

Jeremiah was a prophet who God spoke to. Jeremiah would then tell Israel and Judah (because they were split at the time) whatever the LORD said.

Judah had been sinning and rebellious. God gave them some clear wisdom in verses 5-10. Our verse is under the title “Jeremiah's Trust in the LORD”. Jeremiah knew that if God healed and saved him, he would be truly healed and saved. We need to believe the same thing.

I understand it’s hard to feel healed when you are still in pain. God is not punishing us with pain or sickness. That's not how He works. Jesus died for our sins and our healing. We must believe and trust that God knows what we are going through and He WILL get us through it!
