Psalm 40:11-12

David wrote this Psalm with the intentions of it being sung in church. Could you imagine singing these words? They are so heart felt and so intimate with God.

I think that’s why most of us like to read the Psalms. David did write ALOT of them and he is very personable. We can hear how he feels and often even relate to it because we have been through something that makes us feel the same way.

In our verses, David is admitting to troubles and sins piling up! But he was asking God to not withhold His mercies. Thankfully, we know God will not ever withhold His mercies from anyone. ESPECIALLY someone asking for it.
