Psalm 30:8-10

Today's verses are a psalm that David wrote for the dedication of the Temple. Twice in our verses he is begging God for mercy. Good thing He is a GREAT God of mercy!

In my opinion, I don’t think God would withhold Hos mercy towards us, ever. But especially in situations where we are being sinned against. A lot of David’s life was spent running to stay alive. He was being hunted down, not because of anything he had done wrong. He also lost a child to death. (Bathsheba’s first son.) Grief and sorrow can really break our hearts.
