Nehemiah 9:30-31

Our verses today are Nehemiah, the prophet, talking to God. As I said yesterday, the Israelites were bad about being disobedient to what God told them to do. That disobedience often caused them to be conquered or exiled. Apparently, at this time is history they had done it again.

The way God was with them is how He is with us today. WE are the disobedient ones. WE are the ones who don’t follow Hos commands. BUT GOD! He is so rich in mercy that He draws us to Him to be saved and have a relationship with Him.

In His mercy, He did not completely destroy or abandon Israel. He won’t use either. His grace and mercy are unending. What an amazing God we love and serve!
