Psalm 30:4-5
Psalm 30 is a song written by David for the dedication of the Temple. He wanted to build a Temple for the Lord- but God told him no. He would allow his son Solomon to build a Temple. (1st Chronicles 22:5-10) Since David knew this Temple would be built, he felt led to write a song.
I don’t sing worship songs enough, do you? I love music and listen a good bit. It’s usually Christian music… but I don’t sing to God enough. I should. David encourages singing. He was good with music.
God does not cause bad things to happen to us or our loved ones. He isn’t angry at us and we have favor with Him! JOY is a fruit of the Spirit. (Galatians 5: 22-23) If you have Holy Spirit in you, then you have access to joy.
David's thoughts on joy being there in the morning are comforting if you have been awake worrying, praying, or just sad. We don’t have to let negative emotions dictate our lives. We can let joy help us through anything!
