Psalm 30:11-12

Today we are in the same chapter just writing the last two verses. God did this for David and He can still do it for us! Our mourning can be turned into joyful dancing! In our culture, I think we believe we must be mourning and sad when someone passes away. But if that loved one knew Jesus, we should celebrate them going to Heaven. There are other reasons to mourn- not just death. And even in those times, we shouldb’t get stuck in mourning.

Have you ever use this imagery- clothing yourself in joy? Clothes cover our nakedness. Some clothes can almost cover every inch of us. If we had joy that clothed us like that, NOTHING could bother us!

I believe we should thank God daily for joy and ask Him to help us access it any time we need it!
