Psalm 146:7-9

I am not sure if David wrote our Psalm today because it’s not listed in my Bible. He DID write Psalm 145, just before it. Don’t you just love reading about things God does? I do! It helps me remember when I’m struggling that 1. He is not the cause; 2. His character traits don’t fit what I’m going through; and 3. He is GOOD! Period.

Of course I added verse 7 because it says that the LORD feees the prisoners. We were all prisoners to sin before we met Him. He wants to be in a relationship with every human. Let's just look at a list from these verses: THE LORD

gives justice to the oppressed

gives food to the hungry

frees prisoners

opens the eyes of the blind

lifts up those who are weighed down

loves the Godly

protects foreigners

cares for orphans and widows

Then last but not least- He frustrates the plans of the wicked. God can't over ride a wicked person's free will, but He CAN allow things to happen to try stop them.

I just love the LORD! I am so grateful to be His daughter and live for Him on a daily basis. Aren't you?
