Psalm 118:24

“This is the day the LORD has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it.” NLT

Today I can actually put this verse into action. One of my close friends, Amy, someone who has done Scripture Writing with me for about 4 years or so needs prayers for healing. My heart hurts. This morning feels heavy as my flesh wants to worry about her. (Which honestly I kind of have for 24 hours. Although I have prayed too.)

No matter what we wake up to each morning, this is the day the LORD made and we CAN rejoice and be glad in it. Why? Because God is good. Period. And that's enough. In this life, we WILL have trouble. But Jesus said, “Take heart, for I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)

I know that Amy has a purpose here on earth. But I also know if she passes away, she’ll be in Heaven. I don’t want her to go yet, though. Please pray with me for earthly healing for her. Please rejoice in the LORD today and thank Him for all the good in your life, no matter what negative thing might be trying to overcome shadow it. Rejoice and again I say rejoice!
