Psalm 111:3-4

My Bible does not identify the writer of Psalm 111. The one before is David, but we can’t be sure this one is. I find it very interesting that people in the Old Testament saw the truth of God’s mercy, glory, grace, & majesty. They didn’t have Jesus like the New Testament did for awhile. And yet, they knew what kind of God He is.

No matter what we do, if we turn from our old ways, confess that we believe Jesus is the Messiah, that He died & rose again 3 days later, we will have a home in Heaven AND a personal relationship with God. Upon that confession, the 3rd Person of the Trinity, the Holy Spirit, comes into our lives. Now, He is there to teach, lead, and much more!

God’s character traits that I’ve already mentioned are noticeable because of the changes that take place in us when we receive the Holy Spirit. I pray you allow Him to do things in your heart and life. He is such a wonderful gift from the LORD!
