Proverbs 3:7-8

Today's IF/ Then promise means something to me. I have been struggling the last few months with knee & ankle swelling. My husband went to the orthopedic doctor and made me an appointment. The day I went, I could barely walk. As it turns out, many many years of no arch support (because I’m flat footed) has caused the cartilage in my right knee on the inside to go away. It is bone on bone. My left knee has a little missing but it’s not as bad. While I whole heartedly believe this promise AND I have the faith to believe that God can re-create cartilage, this verse gives me more hope! (I also started physical therapy at my work & it's helping.)

Keeping our pride in check when it comes to wisdom is, well, wise! None of us are scholars and know it alls. None of us have “arrived” and totally have all the answers. Our wisdom comes from God, the Holy Spirit, and the Bible. When I write every morning, I believe it’s the Holy Spirit that inspires & helps me.

I am thankful for this promise, and even though it doesn’t say cartilage, I believe God can do that! He can heal my body & strengthen my bones!
