Proverbs 18:10

“The name of the LORD is a strong fortress; the godly run to Him and are safe.” NLT

This is one HUGE thing about God that I love! We do not have to live in fear from anything. I’ve always loved the imagery of a strong fortress or tower. Back a long time ago, those stone structures provided protection from the enemies.

Our verse says the “name” of the LORD is a strong fortress. You know we fight the enemy out loud and with Scripture, right? Just like Jesus did when He was tempted by him. We have access and power by using God & Jedus’s names. We can run to God, say His name and be safe. Isn’t that comforting?
