Proverbs 10:25

All throughout the Bible we see people talk about God as their foundation. They use terms like solid rock, fortress, and firm foundation both in the Old and New Testaments. I love my NLT version of this Scripture because of how it’s worded…..

“When the storms of life come, the wicked are whirled away, but the godly have a lasting foundation.”

We know the Christian life will never be perfect but living God’s way is always better than the world’s way. Like the parable Jesus told in Matthew 7:24-27, no storm can shake us if we are standing firm on Him!

Also note, this is a LASTING foundation! Not one that will go away. God is good and He has us- no matter what happens!
