Mark 11:24-25

Today's verses are Jesus talking and it’s kind of a reverse IF/THEN. Jesus said pray for anything and if you believe, it will happen. If you are like me, you can think of many things that didn't happen or haven’t happened yet. Once again, Jesus DID NOT say “immediately”. We have to trust God’s timing, because it's perfect.

Also, in order to get what we prayed for, we can’t walk around holding on to grudges against others. God has forgiven us. Who are we to not forgive someone? (Including ourselves!) When we don't forgive someone, or ourselves, we are only hurting ourselves. God point blank tells us that we must forgive someone so that we can be forgiven AND so our prayers can be answered.

I would like to point out one other thing. Sometimes God doesn’t answer our prayers because He has something better for us.

All my single friends, this example is for you. Those people weren’t “the one”. God has a plan! Focus on Him & living His ways. At just the right time, the right one will come along. ALL of our prayers will be answered in one way or another. Just hold on. Ok?
