Luke 5:18-20

Scripture does not give us any history on this man and how he became paralyzed. But we do know that his friends loved him and wanted him to walk again.

They had so much faith in Jesus's ability to heal him that they took drastic measures to get their friend literally in front of Jesus.

My big take away from this is the faith of the man’s friends. Jesus hears ALL of our prayers, but He also sees the faith behind them. Sometimes we NEED friends to pray for us and allow THEIR faith to help us through until we are healed.

God can still heal instantly. But He can also use doctors, medicine, and that same faith from friends. If you don’t have friends who pray for you, then I recommend getting new friends.
