Lamentations 3:24-25

When a loved one passes away and they leave us an inheritance, we receive whatever their wishes were in the will. (Like a house, jewelry, money, etc.) When we become Christians, we are adopted by God immediately. This means we have an inheritance from Him right away. That's like a new life starting right away!

This year, our church is focusing on God first and seeking Him. Verse 2 made me think of that. God isn’t playing hide and seek with anyone. He is always there waiting to begin or grow a relationship with us. The two key things are depending on Him and searching for Him.

When I think of searching for God, I think of reading my Bible as well as finding Him in each day. Where did I see Him that day? When our minds are more focused on Him and things of Him, we are different.

Depending on God is just that. Let Him provide, love, lead, & guide every area of your life. That will change you too!
