Joshua 1:5-9

When was the last time you started a new job? For me, it was when I moved in 2024. I got a job that was not in the same field I was in before. There is so much to starting a new job or even having a specific task added to a current job. Sometimes it’s a good new beginning, sometimes it's not.

God was re-assuring Joshua that He would be with him in this new role as leader. He told him to be strong & courageous 3 times. That means He meant it. God also said to read the Book of Instruction, which we know to be the Bible now. At a job, there is usually a policy & procedure type manual too. In our lives though, the Bible is very important & we should read it, meditate on it, apply it, & live by it. It will help us prosper and succeed at everything we do!
