John 3:16-17

John 3:16 is the MOST famous Scripture of all time. Of course, we know that John was an eye witness to Jesus's ministry. He was also one of the 3 who were closest to Jesus. I honestly wish I knew the history of how someone picked this out and use it as a fast Scripture to spread the Gospel, but I don't.

The best and ultimate new beginning in anyone's life is the day they ask Jesus into their heart. These two verses easily & quickly tell why Jesus came to earth and that they can experience eternal life with Him. Some people think if they are just good people, they will go to Heaven, but that’s not what the Bible teaches. We were born into a fallen sinful works and we have a sinful nature that enjoys worldly things. A sacrifice had to be made once and for all so that we could have a close relationship with God. (And eternal life, like I already said.)
