In this verse, God is telling the people of Israel that they WILL hear the sounds of joy and laughter again.
There will be joy in their songs once more. (I’m telling yall, God loves music!) Life might throw really hard things at us. The enemy and our choices could do the same, but there is ALWAYS something to be joyous about! Always something to sing about. Sometimes, even if it’s only the truth of waking up- that’s enough to be joyous!!
I text a bunch of family and friends 5 things I’m grateful for each day. Their replies bring me joy and we are helping each other shift our focus from hard times in life. Some of my friends are taking care of their parents who are battling cancer. One of my friends is battling cancer herself! And still others are fighting through health conditions… BUT they can all find something to be grateful/ joyous for. How about you? What are you grateful for today?
