Jeremiah 33:10

Jeremiah was a prophet to Israel whom God spoke through. Today's verse does not say joy or laughter, but tomorrow's will. (I probably should have kept these 2 verses together on the list. Sorry.)

The last verse of chapter 34 was not good news! The LORD was going to allow Babylon to come back again. So that was awful news.

The Israelites had been captive to Babylon off and on. God told Jeremiah in chapter 32 about the fall and restoration of them as a country. Chapter 33 is titled, “Promises of Peace and Prosperity.” That’s what is so amazing about God. Even when we disobey or mess up, He loves and restores us. God never puts us through things or allows things to happen because He doesn’t love us. On occasion, OUR decisions cause us trouble.

Hold on though, joy and laughter can and will return to you. Let’s see what else happens in verse 11 tomorrow.
