The book of Romans was written by Paul and sent to the new Christian church in Rome. Chapter 12 is titled, “A Living Sacrifice to God.” As Christians, we tend to fully surrender our hearts and lives to Jesus because of all He did for us. (He still does stuff daily for us too.)
Serving the LORD enthusiastically can be done in so many ways! The main thing is, when you are living in your purpose and doing God’s will, you can’t help but be excited about it.
That excitement is from joy. Paul says to rejoice in our confident hope. What is our confident hope and why should we be joyful about it? We can be confident that we have a relationship with Jesus and a home in Heaven. That should make us super joyful!
