Isaiah 41:13-14

I wanted us to continue writing in Isaiah 41 because what God showed me really hit home. First, if you’ll remember in yesterday’s verses, God says He will hold us up with His victorious RIGHT hand.

Now, today, He says He holds us by our RIGHT hand. That’s not the “normal” way to hold hands. Usually you are beside the person you are holding hands with and one of you is using your left hand. Go ahead, take a second to picture it.

SO, if God’s victorious RIGHT hand is holding our RIGHT hand, that means He is facing us. (Kinda like a hand shake but more personal.) That means He is blocking our front. What do we have to fear with Him in front of us? “But He isn’t guarding our back,” you might be thinking- that’s where your Christian friends & family come in. Even with God’s Armor on, we need others to have our back. They pray for and encourage us to not be afraid.

God will help us through anything we face. He promises to do many times. We aren’t even half way through the month, but these verses are all helping me. How about you?
