Isaiah 35:4-6

Chapter 35 of Isaiah is titled, “Hope For Restoration”. Israel had so many ups and downs in the Old Testament, but much like today, they were predicted Jesus and how different life would be with Him.

Verse 4 mentions fear, but that can go along with anxiety. I’m sure Israel thought God was going to literally destroy whatever country was oppressing them at the moment. But, the truth is, Jesus was being sent for the Spiritual side of life. He destroyed death and the power of the enemy we all face on this earth. He did come to save us! He opened blind eyes and unplugged deaf ears.

We can rejoice in knowing that Jesus came to free us from anxiety! He wants us to have abundant life. We can’t do that if we are allowing anxiety to beat us up.
