Isaiah 35:4

The title in my Bible on chapter 35 is “Hope for Restoration”. Isaiah was a very important prophet who God spoke to. He had many messages to tell Israel for the LORD. I’m thinking the issue at hand was Assyria because they are mentioned in chapter 33 and in 36 they invade Judah.

God loves to encourage us when we are going through hard times. We might not be dealing with a physical attack, but we do endure our enemy regularly. Jesus told us that the enemy comes to kill, steal, and destroy. But He came so we could have abundant life.

When fear tries to rob us of anything, we can be reminded to be strong and not let fear take over! God has dealt with our enemy by defeating him on the cross. Now, we take Scripturr and fight when he attempts to bother us. Remember Jesus combated temptation with God’s Word. We can too!
