Genesis 8:5-7

Yesterday we talked about Noah, his family, and the animals bring on the boat for 5 months while it rained and the earth was flooded. After the boat rested on the mountains of Ararat, they were inside over 3 more months! (2 1/2 months + 40 days = almost 4 more months!)

Everyone on earth was affected by the Covid 19 stuff back in 2020. Some people couldn’t leave their homes. Churches, gyms, and businesses closed their doors. Thankfully, I was about to still go to work & see a few people during the week. I don’t mind staying home a day or two, but any longer than that would be super hard. My home is spacious and comfortable. And even though the boat was HUGE, it wasm’t home for Noah and his family.

Moses is the man who wrote Genesis. While he was not there personally, the Holy Spirit told him what to write. I feel like had Noah complained, it would have been documented. Don’t you? I just find it amazing what Noah endured.
