Ephesians 3:16-18

With the Holy Spirit inside of us, we have the inner strength for every day life. No matter what comes at us, we have a Heavenly Father who adores us and only wants the best for us.

No matter how long you’ve been a Christian, there is still more to learn. We can grow deeper roots if we are grounded in Christ and stay true to His Word and His way.

I always think about my oldest son when I read verse 17. He has a tattoo of a large oak tree that was in our back yard when he was growing up. The roots on the tattoo go towards his elbow. It has 2 meanings for him. This verse inspired our then Youth Pastor to create a weekend trip to help kids get rooted in Christ called Roots. That weekend changed his life. He got 9 roots on the tree to represent the 9 fruit of the Spirit. He inspires me daily!
