Colossians 3:1-4

What a new beginning being raised to life in Christ! (I apologize in advance because we are writing this again next month for a different topic. But that's exactly what I love about the Bible!) My church back home made their baptism T-shirts to say, “Raised to Life”. Baptism does not save you, but you should do it after you’ve given your heart & life to Jesus.

Baptism is a symbol of your own death, burial, & resurrection. It’s a way to publicly declare your decision to follow Jesus. I believe it's good to be immursed (or dunked as I like to call it) because Jesus was baptized that way. If we want to follow Him completely, dunking is the way to go.

If you have never been baptized, I HIGHLY recommend it! I have some friends and my husband that were baptized later in life because they were re-committing to follow Jesus. I think that's super cool!
