2nd Corinthians 3:16-18

Starting at verse 7, my Bible has the title, “The Glory Of The New Covenant”. Paul is talking about Jesus's death, burial, and resurrection and a veil that blocked people's view of God. Just reading the law or the Bible doesn't start a new beginning. When we turn to the LORD, the veil is removed and they can see.

Verse 17 is a good one that is shared a lot. Being free is to live your life for Christ and know that you have Him constantly- no matter what. It doesn’t mean you’ll have a trouble free life. But it doesn't mean you walk in the freedom that He purchased on the cross for you.

Once that veil is removed, we change. We start to look more like Jesus as we grow Spiritually. Reading the Bible, while knowing God, is one way we grow. Attending church and serving the LORD is another way we connect to God and other believers.

I hope in some small way that this Scripture writing helps us all grow Spiritually. That’s one of my reasons for doing it.
