Ephesians 1:6-8

Have you ever thought about how praise and thanks to God can be one in the same? Our verses today don't have the words “thanks or thanksgiving” but it says we praise God for the glorious grace He had poured out on us.

Verses 7 and 8 are just reminding us of the goodness of God and what He has done for us. I noticed in my NLT version, God POURS grace and SHOWERS kindness on us. I love how God uses rain type words.

You’ve been out in the rain before right? Maybe to run to the house or a building from your vehicle. You literally can’t avoid getting water on you. Even with an umbrella or rain coat, you will still get rained on. God’s grace and kindness are like rain. He wants to cover us and help us with them. I think that’s definitely worth praising Him for, don’t you?
