Ecclesiastes 3:10-11

The Complete Jewish Bible has verse 10 as, “I have seen the task God has given humanity to keep us occupied.” Then in verse 11 it says, “He has given human beings an awareness of eternity.” I said it the other day, that we have a God shaped hole in our heart that only He can fill. I think that's a small part of the awareness Solomon was mentioning.

We can’t see God’s work in its entirety, but we do have the Bible and I’m so grateful for that! There are people who heard directly from God, people who eye witnessed things, people inspired by the Holy Spirit to write and some had visions and dreams (from God of course) who wrote them out. We are blessed to have His Word!

Through His Word we can know that God has a Heaven waiting for us that’s far better than this earth!
