1 Corinthians 2:9-12

Today we pick up after yesterday's verses. The quoted part of verse 9 is actually Isaiah 64:4. Honestly, my NLT doesn’t do this verse justice. The New King James Version says, “For since the beginning of the world, men have not heard nor perceived by the ear, nor has the eye seen any God besides You, who acts for the one who waits for Him.” Basically, we humans have NO idea what God has planned for us in both our lives and in Heaven.

My take away for the rest of our verses is that God’s Spirit (aka the Holy Spirit) reveals His thoughts and other wonderful things to us. Without His Spirit, we have no idea what Heaven (and other things) will be like. God has amazing things prepared for us. I believe both now on earth and in Heaven!
