1 Corinthians 2:6-8

Please read verse 9! I should have had us write it. It states that no one knows what God has prepared for us, meaning Heaven. Paul is saying that God’s plans had been mysterious before, then He revealed things through Jesus, so they weren’t hidden anymore.

God has a place prepared for us in Heaven. If it weren't true, Jesus never would have mentioned it. Jesus was a man, but fully God, therefore He did not lie. I’m SO thankful for that!

God had Heaven planned because He knew humans would exercise their free will and sin. He had to give them free will though because otherwise, people would have been like robots and just love Him because He told us to. Having free will means we choose whether or not we want to love Him and have a home in Heaven when it’s our time to go. God left a God shaped hole in our hearts that can only be filled with Him. Once we let Him in, we are guaranteed Heaven when we die.
