Zephaniah 3:17

Most of these Scripture verses have talked about OUR joy. But what about the LORD’S? He has to have joy in order for us to have it. I mean, it is a fruit of the Spirit and God is the Holy Spirit, too.

Zephaniah was talking to Israel and how they had been rebellious. He called them to repentance. But, just like God, He reminds them in our verse that He is there taking delight in them with gladness. He is such an an amazing God!

We can apply this verse to our lives as well. God loves us so much that He will calm our fears too. He will also rejoice over us with joyful songs! What an amazing Heavenly Father we have! His love is real and never ending!
