Romans 2:6-7

Ultimately, at the end of it all, God will judge us. It will be based on if we have obeyed Him or not. Our salvation is secure. Obedience to God’s voice is a whole other thing.

We know that we cannot EARN our salvation. So what Paul means in verse 7 is similar to what he said in Philippians 2:12. We don’t have to do anything but believe Jesus's death, burial, & resurrection to be saved, but once we are, we should stay obedient & “keep doing good”. One way we do that is pushing through, with God’s help, when we go through hard things. We don’t have to strive for salvation. We have to strive to not be tempted to give up on God when times are hard.

We will go to Heaven one day and when we do, all of this mess of the world will be gone!
