Psalm 27:1
David wrote our verse today. I’m not sure of the timing of it, but if I had to guess, I would think it was written during the years Saul chased him.
It’s easy to see humans if they are coming towards you to cause you harm. It’s not easy to see God. BUT, if you take verses like this and memorize them, when trouble comes, you can say it out loud. We can also literally place ourselves in our minds in the loving protection of God’s Fortress and light.
God doesn’t want us hurt. Period. I know it seems odd, but He can protect us in so many ways. One way is by using angels. I have mentioned this already this month, but if I am alone and feel afraid of people around me, I ask God to let a male angel appear to the people if they mean me harm. “Let me not look alone to them,” I pray. Other times, God will prompt people to help us.
Imagine yourself running to God your Fortress if you get afraid. He is there and He WILL help you!!
