Psalm 148:1-2
Psalm 146-158 are all praising the LORD. It would take a minute for me to count the number of times the writer, (maybe David), used the word praise.
Some of God’s angels are messengers. Some are worshiping Him non-stop. But some are literal army soldiers. (Or maybe Marines. I have an active duty Marine son, so I'd call them that if the Bible did. LOL)
When my ex-husband worked night shift, I had to get used to that and I would be afraid. I started praying for God’s army of angels to surround my house. And since we can't normally see them, I asked God to reveal them to whoever might come up to cause harm. That would scare them off and keep them from hurting me.
In Daniel we read A LOT about the angel Gabriel. He spoke to Daniel a good bit. In Daniel 10:12 an angel tells of a fight in Persia that was blocking God’s answer to Daniel’s prayer. Michael, one of the archangels had to help. In verse 16, Daniel said he looked like a man. (If you haven’t read the entire book of Daniel, I highly recommend it.) Some of the angel army has armor on, some do not. But, I’m sure they are all equipped for battle. Have you ever read about God’s army of angels?
