Proverbs 9:11-12

God’s discipline is mentioned several times in the Bible. However, keep in mind!!! God is compassionate & merciful, slow to get angry, and filled with unfailing love. (Psalm 103:8 & Numbers 14:18) This means He is NOT up in Heaven keeping score of your sins & throwing out evil bad things on you because you arent doing what He asked.

The Bible says once we have given our lives to Him, He doesn’t keep record of our sin. He removes them as far as the east is from the west. However, a GOOD Father disciples His children. He never CAUSES bad things. He can’t because He isn’t bad. But He will correct us from time to time. He loves us us too much to let us go off on our own. Ya know?
