Proverbs 2:11-12
Research studies show that adults make approximately anywhere from 33,000 to 35,000 decisions a day! That’s A LOT! Our first decision is probably whether to hit the snooze button or not. Am I right?
If we are familiar with God’s Word and God’s ways of living, then we will end up making wise choices each day. When we make wise choices, we will have protection & understanding.
In our world, we try to not see the PERSON as evil, because we know that we don’t fight against flesh & bone, but against principalities and dark forces. (Ephesians 6:12) Some people who aren’t living for Jesus and allow themselves to be controlled by evil want nothing more than to hurt us. If we are wise, we see the truth and avoid some of the bad stuff in our lives.
At certain times, we need to confide in people we believe are wise and let them help us with decisions. This can be based on age or expertise. Like asking a financial person advice on your finances. If you fon’t have someone like that in your life, you can always talk to a Pastor or older church member. Also, I encourage you to always have someone in your life that’s faith is a little behind you, so you can help them. Then have someone a little ahead of you, so they can help you. That’s wise!
