Proverbs 12:19-20

I’m the type person that I’d rather you tell me the truth, hurt my feelings or make me mad, then we can work through it. When someone lies and is found out, it causes distrust. If you can't trust someone, it's really hard to be in a relationship with them. The truth lasts forever. (Which is one reason why the Bible has been around so long.) Lies ALWAYS get exposed, it can take years, but it always does.

People who are deceitful aren’t planning anything good. They are not trustworthy and are normally only out to harm. It’s VERY hard to have a relationship with someone who is deceitful. Deceit is defined as “concealment or distortion of the truth for the purpose of misleading”. It’s a planned type of thing. Which makes it so much worse.

When we do what the Bible says and live at peace with everyone, JOY feels our hearts. You can’t deceive someone that you are purposefully being peaceful with. This will bring joy in your heart because there is nothing but good when you have peace!
