Philippians 3:12-14

In verse 12, “these things” Paul is talking about is the fact of knowing it all, living perfectly, and how he WANTED to suffer with Jesus. Paul chose the word “PRESS” to describe how he is moving toward perfection that is from Jesus. Jesus is the only perfect human being. We won’t be perfect until we get to Heaven. But Paul here is saying that he pushed forward- kept moving forward- living life God’s way, because it is a better way to live. EVEN if he had to suffer.

Our past is best used as a lesson learner. Don’t let shame and guilt hold you down. The enemy would love nothing more than to trap you in it. God forgives & forgets our sins, we should too.

When the hard times come in our life, if we keep moving forward in Jesus and following Him, we have many things waiting for us, one of which is our home in Heaven. There will be an amazing end to life on earth!
