Philippians 1:27-28

I feel like Paul used a lot of words to say three things: We are citizens of Heaven, not earth. We need each other to get through the hard battles, and don’t let the enemy taunt you!

Sometimes I get so bogged down in worldly issues that I forget I’m a citizen of Heaven. We are just passing through here. While our bodies are “earthly”, WE, our spirit and soul is not. When it’s our time to go, we will leave this body here and go to Heaven.

While we are here, we need each other! Battles are really hard alone. It was never God’s intention for us to be alone, which is why He created Adam & Eve. He then established family. Sometimes our families can be complicated. That’s ok. As a Christian, you have brothers & sisters to battle with you. They can pray and lift us up when life gets hard. They have our backs, as I’ve said before.

Our enemy wants nothing more than for you to be down and not functioning normally. He can interrupt sleep, have your mind racing, and make you believe lies like no one cares. Talk to someone if you are feeling like this. The people in your life DO care! Fight the lies with Scripture. Don't allow him to beat you up! You are a child of the MOST HIGH! A citizen of Heaven! He has NO authority over you!
