Matthew 12:22-23

God considers removing demons as healing. This means that some “sickness” or “health issues” aren’t physical, they are spiritual. This verse does not word for word say that Jesus cast the demon out, but it does say the man was demon-possessed, unable to see or speak, then Jesus healed him.

We are not told if this man was this way from birth or if it was a recent issue. We do know there was a crowd of people who witnessed it and when they did, it made them wonder if Jesus really was the Messiah.

I’m so thankful that even now, healing can take place in both ways. We can still send things away in Jesus name. God can still heal in any way He pleases!
