Luke 2:8-11

I should have put our verses in order because today's happened before yesterday's. Sorry about that. The night Jesus was born, an angel appeared to some shepherds in a field to announce His birth. He said don’t be afraid first because I’m sure a bright light in a dark field that started talking was scary. The big message was JOY to ALL people.

The interesting thing is, Jesus's birth SHOULD have brought joy, instead it brought many other emotions. I believe the Jewish people were so used to their traditions and rules that they were afraid to see the truth of Jesus being the Messiah. The joy of Jesus's birth should have completely changed their nation. I’m so glad the message spread across the world to us. I have joy because of Jesus's birth, death, & resurrection!
