June Scripture List- Resilience

I asked our newest member on Group Me for some topics she would like to write about. Resilience was on her list and it jumped out at me. Taking the second definition of resilience from the dictionary, it is defined as, “the ability of a person to adjust to or recover readily from illness, adversity, major life changes, etc.”

I began going over different people's lives in the Bible and thinking of how they were resilient- some of them more than once in their lives. So, starting at Genesis, I just went chapter by chapter for awhile.

This is unlike any list I have done. I’m going to have to read the chapters and verses from the list carefully myself since we are writing from the same book for days.

My prayer is that this list will remind us of how people in the Bible got through hard things with God’s help!
