Hebrews 11:35-36

Today we will pick up after yesterday’s verses. One thing I thought about this morning from verse 35 is confident trust in the LORD. When we are going through something hard, we HAVE to be confident in God and trust Him. Remember, He can’t do anything bad, so He didn’t CAUSE it, but He will be with us through the hard times.

Being patient, especially in our modern world, is NOT easy. At this point, we get bored with a video of it doesn’t start right away. It’s even harder to endure something uncomfortable, sad, or heart breaking.

I am reminded of Abraham & Sarah. God promised them a baby, but Sarah was tired of waiting and had Abraham sleep with one of her servants. What turmoil that caused! Even now, in 2025, we are dealing with the consequences of that decision. If Sarah could have trusted God to keep His promise, our world would be different.

When you are enduring something difficult, tell someone you trust and let them pray for and encourage you. That will help you a ton!
